SLAGHAMMERS
Workshop
Slaghammers currently does not offer individual spaces for metalworking. Instead, we provide workshops in collaboration with community organizations. However, we do host open days where we welcome those interested to our workshop. On these days, you can engage in a variety of activities, such as cleaning, organizing, constructing tools, or simply practicing welding. If this sounds interesting to you, please feel free to reach out for more details, as we have a limited number of spots.
Our workshop is not heated, but we do have space heaters and keep the kitchen warm for your comfort. It can still get quite chilly, so please remember to bring warm clothing. We also have regular hot tea breaks to help you stay cozy. Although we do have a toilet in our workshop, it is not accessible. Access to an accessible toilet is located in a nearby building a one minute's walk away. Please be aware that the floor outside our workshop is cobbled, which might require some extra caution. Additionally, our workshop can be quite noisy due to the machinery. While we do provide ear protection, you may find it helpful to bring additional ear plugs for your comfort. If you have long hair, please bring a hair tie.
